The specified values have been determined based on the statutory measurement procedures. The information does not relate to one individual vehicle and is not part of the quotation, but instead is provided solely for the purposes of comparing the various vehicle types. The fuel consumption and the CO₂ emissions of a vehicle not only depend on efficient use of fuel by the vehicle, but also on the handling and other non-technical factors (e.g. environmental conditions). Additional equipment and accessories (add-on components, tyres etc.) may alter relevant vehicle parameters, such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics, and further influence the consumption and performance values in addition to the weather and traffic conditions.
The information on fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions apply within the specified ranges, depending on the selected tyre format and optional special equipment. Note as per Directive 1999/94/EC, as amended: Further information on the official fuel consumption and the official specific CO₂ emissions of new passenger vehicles can be found in the "Guide to the fuel consumption, CO₂ emissions and power consumption of new passenger vehicles", which is available free of charge at all sales points and from the DAT Deutsche Automobil Treuhand GmbH, Hellmuth-Hirth-Straße 1, D-73760 Ostfildern or at www.dat.de.
Efficiency classes rate vehicles on the basis of the CO₂ emissions in consideration of the unladen vehicle weight. Vehicles which are average are classified as D. Vehicles which are better than the current average are classified as A+, A, B or C. Vehicles which are worse than the average are rated as E, F or G.
